The intent of the site is to engage people towards a place where ideas can be shared. An example might be a recipe – I make a mean creamy peppercorn sauce; it was once described thusly: “you know, that sauce you could put on styrofoam and it would taste awesome.” Another example might be a javascript function or an open source solution that might be useful or, even, a solution to a technical problem that, having spent countless hours trying to solve myself – translation: searching and searching through the ether – I’ve stumbled across, translated or otherwise modified to suit my own needs. (Rule: Give credit where credit is due. Apologies to T.S. Eliot: in the days of open source, good poets may still borrow but great hackers give due credit.)
